eDrive LENNOX Variable water flow is an incredible source of ELECTRICITY SAVING

Lennox integrates variable speed pumps to its range of chillers in order to reduce electricity bills and improve the carbon footprint.

20% speed reduction = Reduced energy consumption by 50%

Electricity savings of a chiller, such as Neosys or Ecolean, equipped with a variable frequency pump can be of several types:
     - with full load: the chiller water flow is adjusted electronically during startup to actual plant needs.
     - partial load: pump speed is automatically reduced to maintain a constant pressure in the plant.
     - during the shut-down time of the chiller in the unoccupied zone (night, weekend): The controller can indeed reduce the pump speed automatically to a minimum level and maintain the required minimum flow through the vaporizer, while providing frost protection.

Cost savings potential:
Installation cost of this system can be significantly reduced by using 2-way valves instead of 3-way valves on the end units.
